2. How long does it take to travel from Hanoi to Halong Bay?
Thanks to the new Hanoi - Hai Phong – Halong Expressway, it takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to travel from Hanoi City Center to Halong Bay. Ambassador Cruise offers shuttle bus services with complimentary bottle of water, Wi-Fi, and USB charger for your comfortable journey.

3. What is the best time to visit Halong Bay?
In each season, Halong Bay is alluring and gorgeous with different attractiveness, making the Heritage worthy of all-year travel. Based on personal interests, tourists can select the most favorite time for a Halong Bay vacation. If you desire to enjoy outdoor activities absolutely, autumn (September – October) and spring (February – April) are highly recommended thanks to such pleasant weather. For those who prefer the heat, sunshine, and swimming, summer is ideal, but you should consider the peak season in the early summer as well as the storm period between July and August.

4. Is there anything special I need to pack?
Whenever travelling in Halong Bay, you are highly advised to carry with you a sun cream, a hat/umbrella, a mosquito repellent, wet serviettes/baby wipes and/or hand sanitizers, aspirin/paracetamol, stomach troubles medicines, and windbreakers just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.

DURING THE CRUISE:

1. What should I wear on the boat?
No dress code is imposed aboard Ambassador Cruise. We suggest you take light garments in summer, sweaters, and/or a jacket in winter as it can get pretty chilly, especially at night. A raincoat will be useful any time of the year.
 As for shoes, choose appropriate items according to the temperature and prepare trainers or walking shoes for excursions (visiting caves, hiking, cycling, etc.). Don’t forget your bathing suit for swimming!

2. Is Wi-Fi available onboard?
Wi-Fi is available at the reception area, restaurant, and bar. However, the Internet connection in Halong Bay can be very difficult as the area is surrounded by large karst mountains and signals coming from the satellites can be easily blocked. Instead of surfing the Internet, you should take your phone off and enjoy the marvelous landscapes in the Bay.

3. Will I get seasick?
There are thousands of islands in Halong Bay, which ensures that the waters remain calm, much like the water in a lake. Even the most sensitive people very rarely suffer from seasickness, but it is wise to take seasickness tablets with you just in case.

4. Do I need to bring money on board?
Yes, you should bring money for refreshments and souvenirs off the boat and for tips.

POST-CRUISE:

1. How can I send feedback?
At the end of the trip, our cruise manager or crew team will take care of you and collect all of information from customers such as onboard services, meals, activities, excursions, etc., and they will give you a feedback form to fill in. Please write down your experiences on our cruise to let us know which point should be improved.

2. If I forget anything on cruise or your shuttle bus, who should I contact?
